Henny Lou was created out of a passion for making. Sewing has been a process of self discovery and self expression during my early years of motherhood. I Love to create clothing that is fun and comfortable. I would generally describe my personal style as trendy comfort. I love to try new things and explore trends, but if it’s not comfortable I’ll never wear it. I love to design my own patterns and create custom pieces as well as hack patterns from other designers, which you can find on my blog. There is so much you can do with sewing! Making clothing myself has also forced me to slow down and give deeper thought to my fashion choices. This is fashion and making at a slower pace that we can all feel good about.
